  1. Karl Steel says:

Oh Christ Sara, I just finished making the most embarrassed laughing noises, scraping General Tso's Bean Curd off my chinos, &c &c. This equals the Big Green House for my all time favorite…

  2. Michelle D says:

Besides the mutant giant dog in the deck window, the picture appears almost animated. Like a Sims house or something.

  3. Z'rrza says:

Do you suppose the house comes with Clifford?

  4. Jenn says:

I love the slide coming down from the back deck!

  5. GaryM says:

Hmmm, that “sun-filled deck” needs some structural help. Amazing what passes for “good enough” on stuff like that.

  6. Livia Llewellyn says:

    IT’S CLOVERDOGFIELD!

  7. Anonymous says:

Watch out: the cat’s behind you!

  8. Mary Ellen says:

Oh my God, I cannot stop giggling. What IS that?!

  9. TnT says:

“Giant dog in backyard is friendly … er … watch your step!”

  10. Lani ~ The Wooden Porch says:

Too funny! I think I would like those people. Clever photo.

  11. rita says:

do they live close to the power lines and, somehow, the dog got mutated?

  12. FarmWife says:

I have to say, for housing such a large dog, the house seems te be relatively free from major pet damamge.

I’m surprised you can’t see the dog in the arial shot.

  13. Chris Z. says:

    Ahhh!

I wonder if somewhere there is a disgruntled co-worker who does all the photoshop for the realtor?

  14. Why S? says:

OMG, I so needed that right now. You just don’t know. Thanks.

    aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh!

I know, I’ll look at picture 11, the soothing pink room, to calm my frazzled ner….

    AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

  16. KT says:

Is this Clifford the Big Red Dog’s cousin???

  17. virtuallori says:

    Clifford — I love it!

  18. AnnieMcPhee says:

I still think he’s from The Sandlot. Did anyone see picture 4, where the space between the indoor railings is full of grass? I don’t get it – it doesn’t look like there’s a glass door below to account for it.

If this was an accident – holy crap! And if it was on purpose…why? And if they don’t shore up that monstrosity of a deck, they’re in trouble. And if that’s the door to the deck, how the heck is the dog’s face visible – he has to be standing on the ground for his face to show in the door. Maybe he crashed through the rickety thing and he’s looking to see if anyone noticed.

  19. Sara says:

Another update: the big dog has been replaced with a normal-sized dog. I will miss the big dog. It was a good dog.

  20. EdibleJesusBeard says:

thank god for that update! this was driving me insane..I couldn’t stop laughing and wondering “WHY??”. My initial theory was that the owners had some sort of malignant obsession with a dead dog and had to have him plastered into the patio door.

Now if someone could explain the half ghost on the couch…

  21. Theresa says:

I feel like I’m in a doll house being watched by an average dog!

  22. Amanda says:

    OH MY GOD!!!!!

    APPLES!!!!!

  23. Ryan says:

Think the dog’s bad? Cleaning up the messes he leaves in the yard is a pain-in-the-ass…

  24. Anonymous says:

The Good Part? The owners won’t have to pay for a security system.

The Bad Part? The pooper scooper service they’ll have to hire will cost at least twice as much.

  25. Hunter says:

DOG OF DOOM IS HERE TO EAT YOU!

  26. The One Guy says:

Wow, I’m just going through the archives, half asleap and thinking about going to bed and picking up my trawl again tomorow, when sudenly, WTF!?

  27. THE RESISTANCE says:

    OH ****!
