wow – those bridesmaids dresses burn the retina a bit, don’t they?

(I also like the smiley picture of the bride having her hair done, a few shots on in the listing. . . . )

  2. Charlene says:

Maybe one of the bridesmaids went bankrupt paying for that lovely, lovely dress and had to sell their house?

The worst part? I don’t have a single bridesmaid dress that bad, and I have some bad bridesmaid dresses.

  3. OmegaMom says:

Silly Sara–It’s because the whole ensemble, bride, bridesmaids, and flower girl, matches the sofa, of course!

  4. Belen says:

Did anyone else notice that the pictures are of two different brides? Stranger and stranger.

  5. Charlene says:

Looking at this again, I have a suspicion that someone mistakenly added the wedding and Christmas pictures to the gallery. First of all, the outdoor shots are all summer: why images of a Christmas tree? Second, if those brides and bridesmaids are/were in style at the time of the weddings, those images could be 30 years old.

  6. D~ says:

Wow and it comes with a personal hairdresser? After bad hair days, I’m sure there are plenty of women breaking down the door with offers to buy the place.

  7. T says:

given that image 8 is of a different bride (at least I hope it’s a different one – it’s definitely a different wedding!) I’m guessing that the seller is trying to prove that it’s a perfect home for parties… Christmas parties, Wedding Receptions…

  8. Meg says:

    *too speachless to make comment*

  9. Erica Ortiz says:

Oh wow. Now that is truly a terrible 80′s wedding!

  10. Zazzu says:

It looks like some former bride is just too sad about “her” day being over. She wants as many people as possible to see her in all her bridal glory.

Which, if true, is very very sad.

Why are there ever pictures of people in listings? We’re not shopping for humans, we’re shopping for a house!

  11. Anonymous says:

It also proves that those red window treatments have been up for the better part of two decades.

  12. Crochet by Momma J says:

One word for that one – ODD.

  13. Aim says:

It is 2 different brides and 2 different bad bridesmaid dress. I’m guessing the one doing the hair is a bridesmaid, she has a green dress on. It’s just to hard to snap a few new pictures of your house. I really hope those weren’t recent weddings.

  14. Family Fielding Brown. says:

How quaint, horror dress wearers watch as cheif bridesmaid screws on bride’s false leg…..as the great philospher Zappa said “romance is not dead, it just smells funny” ( OK I paraphrase).
I wonder if this is aspirational lifestyle thingy, subliminal message they hope ” buy my home and have a dream wedding and live happily ever after”, I’m reading “buy this house if you are a saddo with no discerable taste”, but I am trying to overcome my cynisism, honest.

  15. Karen says:

Bride No. 1 should have matched the maid dresses to the color of the kitchen countertop!

  16. blissfullycaffeinated says:

My eyes! For the love of God my eyes!

  17. Zach says:

GAHHHH!!! I know the listing agent personally and I live around the corner from this house in Danielson, CT!!!! what a mess… Apparently Bob’s getting a little old…

  18. Karen says:

“Spacious living room, big enough to fit an entire bridal party!”

  19. Melissa says:

I assume that the conversation went something like this:

Realtor: OK, Mr. and Mrs. Jones, we’ll need some photos of your house for the listing.

Mrs. Jones: Umm….hmmm. Well, the house was still in pretty good shape for Sally’s wedding in 1985, wasn’t it?

Mr. Jones: Yes, it was. And it still looked great for Jenny’s wedding in 1987, too. That was well before the fire and flood damage.

Mrs. Jones: OK, great. We’ll use photos from their weddings then. OH! And Christmas ’86 too! *Phew*
