well, as we’ve seen before…people in listing photos can be so darn distracting! So now we get to focus on the property and pay NO mind to the big white boxes.

I reckon it’s a rental. I’ve often seen pictures with kids in them and you just know they’re rentals. Same with the degree of tidiness. Rentals make no effort to conceal the tea towel, dishes, ashtrays, clutter on the coffee table etc.
Those Europeans are always ahead of us on the latest decorating trends aren’t they?

I’m so glad you’ve been enjoying Immoweb. Admittedly you seem to have missed my favourites — the ads showing only an unmade bed, or the kitchen full of dirty dishes and the estate agent’s handbag… but you’re getting the idea. Now you see why it took me a mere 4 years to find a place to buy here…!
And I have to say, there is a remarkable proportion of frosted glass floors and stairs without railings here, I think they’re just less risk-averse than the rest of us….
