Peek-a-boo

How thoughtful — they left a cosy little nook for Chair. And clearly they’re respecting Chair’s autonomy, as nobody would ever want to sit there. It is for Chair, and Chair alone.

Why oh why oh WHY do people put a stove right next to a doorway? I see major accidents happening, especially if there are kids in the house.

  2. drjim says:

And look, just to the right is another nook for Chair’s friend, CAN!
How nice they can play together!

Now that my mind has been burned with the image of Chair on Chair action, when I see Chair by himself in a private nook I think naughty thoughts.

How sad, Portable Dishwasher ran away with Upper Cabinet. I don’t think chair is going to be able to take their places, no matter how hard he tries.

  5. Callisto says:

What is with that nook anyway? Would it have killed the builder to extend the counter and cabinet all the way to the wall? I mean, in my house, we’d kill for an extra foot of counter space and storage.

  6. Stuart says:

Callisto – I suspect that “nook” is where the fridge is supposed to go. You know, the fridge the builder had in his college dorm room? The one with STP decals on it and that held little more than a six-pack of Miller, a package of Pepperoni Pizza Hot Pockets, and three jars of congealed mustard? Yeah, that one.

At least there’s a convenient pole in the back yard to tether the kids to during Gin hour.
