With nary a thought toward “resale value.” I wouldn’t make those choices (Parcheesi carpet excepted (WHERE do you FIND that?)), but I love the spirit. Go silly Connecticut couple!

Just need to do the one staircase, so you can climb up one side and slide down the other. Great fun for those rainy days when you can’t go outside onto the top floor balcony.

When your done doing that, you can lie back on the floor look up at the carpet floor pattern on the ceiling and imagine that you’ve been glued to roof and are looking down. Once you are done doing that, you can go downstairs, move all the furniture out the way and play a life-size game of Ludo using the board pattern that has been woven into the carpet.
