The stairs are not ADA (All Dalek Accessibility) compliant

“Walk back in time,” says the listing. Waaaay back. Then waaayyy into the future. And then exterminate all non-Daleks from… uh… West Brant, Ontario.

I kid, but come on: how useful would it be to have a Tardis in your living room? The place is a mess, company’s coming over? Just shove everything — and I mean everything — into the Tardis and you’re set!

  1. Just the impetus I need to move out of my parents house!

  2. Kat says:

Oooh! A suit of armor, a TARDIS, and a Dalek too? Be still my geeky heart.

I’d love to visit, but I don’t think living there would work out.

  3. Coyttl says:

    I’m sorry..

    I’ll take it! :D

  4. Bel says:

I would buy but only if they threw in the tardis and dalek.

  5. Dan says:

    exterminate…Exterminate…EXTERMINATE…

my eyes after seeing his lounge/rec room or whatever it might be called.

  6. mystic_eye_cda says:

My husband says if the Police Phone Booth comes with the house he’s sold, he’d even move to Brantford. Its not that far from us.

  7. Rachet says:

Hold on! I’ll be right there with downpayment!

  8. Babs says:

    That. Is. Awesome.

    Weird, but awesome.

  9. pepperjackcandy says:

Now we know how Doctor Who will end:

the TARDIS materializes, the Doctor and his companion trip over the arm of the couch, and the Dalek shoots ‘em dead.

  10. MaryB says:

No – you’ve got it WRONG! Don’t forget – by the end of the new season 3 or 4, the daleks are an AIRBORNE disaster waiting to happen. Hence stairs not an issue! (Horrors!) Oh – and the police box/Tardis? A closet… bigger on the inside than on the outside. You’re getting a REALLY good deal with this place.

    • Sara says:

Good point. Are these recent Daleks, or pre-flight Daleks? Only one way to find out! Who’s up for moving to West Brant, Ontario?

      • brie says:

I may be wrong but I was pretty sure the Dalek took flight in season 1(of the recent DW) when it was chasing Rose up the stairs… nerdy I know. I just got hooked on Doctor Who and I have been watching EVERY episode in order since! :)

      • Zock says:

I was thinking exactly the same thing. And I’m really a Dr. Who Johnny-come-lately, too.

        ELEVATE…

        • Jabraille says:

Oh, just as long as they’re not the half-human-half-Daleks that’re now achieving flight. (Yes, I know there was only the one. Still, he was TERRIFYING.)

    • Nemo says:

Actually the Daleks were able to levitate over stairways even in the last season of the old series, in “Remembrance of th Daleks”.

  11. Emily Michelle says:

Does the TARDIS come with? Because then I need $235,000, and I need it now. Where’s West Brant, Ontario? I don’t know. I don’t care. All I need to know is that there’s a Dalek in the stairwell.

  12. drjim says:

    SEEK! LOCATE!
    EXTERMINATE!!!!

  13. Just Me says:

This is SO geeky that it’s almost kinda awesome.

  14. Usagi says:

The listing says the tardis and entertainment center stay if the buyer wants them! Bye everyone! I’m off to Canada!

  15. Mary says:

    “Unique”

That’s never a good thing to see in a listing and

    “must see”

that tends to translate as “It’s unbelievable! You’ve just GOT TO see this!!”

That tends not to be in a good way.

  16. Land of shimp says:

Look, it’s the stove from Bewitched!! No kidding. We had that stove when I was growing up, but I’ve never seen it elsewhere, except from in Sam and Darren’s house.

Maybe the entire house is a gateway into TV world. Where’s Jeanie’s bottle? Tiger’s doghouse? Do they have any Sleestaks? No? Dang.

Also, there is an amusing little trampoline in the backyard that is cracking me up for no particular reason.

  17. bob says:

I just checked out the listing and it says the TARDIS is included “if wanted.” Hell yes it’s wanted!

  18. absepa says:

A house with a TARDIS and Dalek-in-residence? Do want!!

  19. Charlene says:

If it weren’t so close to Toronto I’d be scooping this one up.

    • mystic_eye_cda says:

That’s nowhere near Toronto. Its at least two hours from downtown. It snot even a “bedroom” community for Kitchener or Hamilton.

That’s close to Toronto the way that Northampton or Cambridge are “close” to London.

  20. EL Fay says:

    It’s a beautiful house, actually. Just has . . . interesting decoration.

  21. Samuel says:

Wow I love that stove!! I wonder if it still is in good working? I also wonder if they are refering to the TARDIS when they say “public transportation,” maybe in canada every home has one of these… In which case I would Sooo be moving there…

  22. OMG I WANT! But only if the owner takes all the ugly furniture and leaves the Dalek and the TARDIS.

  23. Magister Ludi says:

A bumper car? A Coke machine? Who did the decorating here? (And yes, if I lived closer to Ontario I’d schedule an appt just to take pix of the Dalek and TARDIS…)

  24. Kit says:

Who buys a replica Dalek? Someone incredibly optimistic that it’s not a Dalek ploy to sneak into our homes and then turn on, yet somehow not optimistic enough to believe in the Doctor or they’d know better.
That Dalek has been seething about the wallpaper for years now. Don’t let Rose touch him.

  25. kitrona says:

DO WANT. I’ll even take the wallpaper.

  26. Lisa W says:

There is so much about this to love!

But isn’t anyone else creeped out by the ivy that is overtaking the house? I have watched enough sci-fi to know that this cannot be a good thing.

PS–If they throw in a Klingon I am sold.

  27. Kat says:

I’ve been a Whovian since I was about…probably 5 years old. Which is to say *cough* a while.

If I could move to Canada and had the money, I’d buy that house.

Of course, I’d never get my kids out of the TARDIS. That’s right, I am raising the next generation of geeks.

  28. Snowlion says:

Forget the house! I’ll just take the TARDIS! Why live in a house when you can go anywhere?!

  29. toribug11 says:

    I WANT THIS HOUSE!!!!!

  30. CWin says:

Heck; I’d just take the Tardis and the Dalek.

  31. Shaz says:

Amazing. I grew up hiding behind the couch watching Dr Who and still watch it. I would love my own Tardis… So would my kids! Canada’s a bit far though.

  32. lacy says:

I actually like this house! hah

  33. Dede says:

I always knew that eventually The Dr. and Rose would live happily ever after…in a Canadian suburb is a bit weird BUT congrats! I hear they even adopted a couple cyberboys. Aww.

  34. pepsibookcat says:

    Raw. Geek. Lust.

PPpplllleeeassseeee, let me live there! Don’t take ANYTHING away when you move. I have to have that awesomeness!

  35. Steph says:

Everyone else wants the Dalek and the TARDIS. I want the house and the suit of armor. You lot take those two, and I’ll keep the house and the armor. Fair? ;)
