I can’t escape the feeling that the whole thing looks like a hospital ward. Maternity ward? Maybe all the sinks are for bathing multiple babies.

According to the listing “Features:Extra car spaces, Business car, shop” Not one thing about anthropomorphic sinks! Again, a realtor selling their property short.
Oh,and everything in Australia is completely insane price-wise. Even by California standards. Which are completely insane. I hope people in Australia make boatloads of money.

The whole bedroom must totally reek of coloring chemicals and industrial strength shampoo! I must say it’s kinda cool that you don’t have to get out of bed to wash your hair – you just have to sit up, lean back, work up a lather and rinse!
And I was thinking it looked a lot like my veterinarian’s office, if they tried to sell it as a house.

I would say that this place is not so much a converted hair salon, as a closed and currently being lived in salon. Converted indicates some actual… well, conversion really. More than just plonking a bed in certainly.
I would guess that the corner sink was used for mixing/rinsing hair dye/bleach. Reassuring to see that there is a fire extinguisher nearby.
There is a pile of towels there as well. I wonder if the bed doubles as a waiting area sofa during the daytime?
sigh… only in Queensland. At least chair seems to have gone upmarket and is planning an overseas trip in pic 4- or global domination.
