Should Probably Take Off The Link To Google Street View

Body Outline

Move along, folks. Nothing to see here.

Found By: Gord

Loveliest comment, by u: My wife and I did this with our two dogs and a cat a couple of years ago for Halloween at the end of our driveway. A couple of days later, a concerned (but inattentive) neighbor knocked on our door saying that someone had done a terrible thing in front of out house–it was obviously an implied threat to us. I had to get out the hose that afternoon because she was so upset for us.

Maybe the house is on a dead end?
    A kill de sac?
    Never mind.

  2. Michelle in NZ says:

What sort of body is that shape? Beloved large family doglet?

  3. Jennifer says:

Someone did this where I live (Spokane).

I think it was a Xmas joke…painted smooshed outlines of elves on the street :)

  4. Aw, look, Mr. Chalky is sunbathing!

  5. Alicia says:

These are quite common cross-walk markings in New Zealand. It’s more of a warning that you will most likely get hit if you aren’t paying attention, they don’t really stop for pedestrians there.

  6. Kerrick says:

Definitely not a crime scene–they haven’t done chalk outlines since the advent of digital photography, at least. Think of it as advertising the fact that it’s a quiet enough street that some kids had the time to lie down and spray paint each other.

  7. Dana says:

That’s on a 5 lane highway! Definitely not quiet!

Even though I know they don’t do chalk outlines anymore, that’s still the biggest laugh I’ve had today :D

  9. Apparently the realtor caught wind of your post, because Mister Chalky has disappeared from their site!

Well, it does say it’s being sold “as is”. What I want to know is why set up a slideshow when there are only 2 pictures?
