Also, this house is in the Spring Valley area of DC which is notoriously famous for having been used as a missle dumping ground in the 40s. Good luck getting any insurance company to underwrite this property. There are blocks of this neighborhood that are vacant because of the problems. Notice the Saftey Orange sign in one of the picutures in the front.

Some Diplomat has more money than sense. I spy a recruit for the Real Housewives of DC.

If I could afford it, I’d keep part of the decor and turn it into a B&B! Those themed bedrooms are perfect, if overdone.

I really like blue-and-white; my grandmother’s china pattern was Blue Danube, and it has warm, fuzzy, Grandma-and-hot-chocolate associations for me. Blue Danube is now my china pattern, too, and I have a plate rack on my kitchen wall with some of the Danube china in it.

That said, those plated walls are making me nauseous.
