Chairturday! Making Chair Angels

Adventures Of Chair - Chair Angels
Do you know what it’s like to realize you haven’t done a post for the next day yet and it’s really time to do it because Christmas dinner is about to be served and you really need to get the Santa Claus bread out before anyone has a chance to object and you’re already a bit tipsy but you don’t want to miss a day because you’ve been doing a blog for 1 1/2 years and you haven’t missed a day yet and you don’t want to break the chain and you’ve already decided to go with the Chair angels but you can’t think what to say in the caption and then your ever-so-helpful spouse walks up behind you and shouts “be funny! Now! Funny! No, funnier!” and if you don’t hurry up and finish you’re going to be stuck at the kiddie table?

Yeah, me neither. Cheers! And apologies for the writing-about-writing which is always so freaking boring but it’s the best I can do under these conditions. Blame my brother-in-law and the mean Old Blue Eye he mixed me.

I should submit my picture of Chair hibernating under the snow. XD

Quick! Before someone gets all the best potatoes!

  3. BikerGeek says:

Tragically, Chair had one too many at the holiday party.

  4. GaryM says:

Whatever you were drinking, can I get the recipe?

What the heck is an Old Blue Eye and where can I get one?

(And if anyone says 1-800-Contacts, so help me, I will throw you out the window…sorry, it’s been one of THOSE holidays!)

  6. Goof says:

:) The picture and “Chair Angel” caption is more than funny enough.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

  7. Celine says:

It looks like Chair started to make a snow angel and just… gave up.

I like it when you write about writing, by the way. It’s still funnier than a lot of the junk one finds on the internets.

Sadly, in the new year, we’ll starting finding all the homeless chairs that were abandoned during Christmas. Always have your chairs tagged and microchipped so the RSPCC (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Chairs) will know where to return them.

  9. Julie K says:

Too many people adopt chairs for the holidays, then abandon them when they realize that chairs need attention, walks and shots. Sometimes a chair misbehaves, and gets chained outside.

Remember chairs need love too. There are feral chairs, but they don’t live as long as indoor chairs. So be a responsible chair owner. Commit to taking care of your chair, be a forever home to your chair companion.

I enjoy even the ‘lazy’ posts (which are still pretty dang funny); I’ve also found the commenters on this site to be some of the funniest. Thanks for the entertainment!
