Charles-Édouard Jeanneret, later known as Le Corbusier, was born in Switzerland in 1887 and became a French citizen in 1930. He is known as one of the founders of the Modernist movement in architecture, as well as for his forward thinking and somewhat radical views concerning urbanism and the best way to build a city to promote density and optimize space.

Hey guys, one of you had a hilarious and awesome idea to rename me because I’ve been here for ages (longer than you know, bwahahahah!) and maybe I should have a name of my own. Instead of getting all “this is my real name…” on you, why don’t you guys come up with what you want to call me? I’ll give you a week or something and then we’ll come to an agreement. Ready? Go!

We’ve all wondered what really goes on in a soft-serve ice cream machine. Wonder no more! We at Lovely Listing have managed to find a teeny tiny camera to take a photo of the soft-serve machine’s innards. Turns out it holds a teeny tiny living room and teeny tiny dining room, arranged around the ice-cream spout (shown here mid-serving).

Mmmm. Delicious contemporary architecture.
